Abstract

At the end of the 19th century, European theater underwent a scenic revolution. In the 20th century, the American author and playwright Gertrude Stein, who had settled in Paris, took these transformations to the next level by proposing “Landscape Theatre”, a convergence of theater with visual arts, thus imposing a new form of theatrical perception.
