Abstract

This paper has tried approach the connections of professors' illness and labor in the university. I examine the labor inside private and public higher education institutions to identify differences in illness associated with the reality of labor activities in universities. Next, I examine the growth of postgraduate programs in Brazil, in a half-century historical series, and the rule of CAPES in the creation it. In this point, I try to show the power of CAPES face all over postgraduate programs and, because it, CAPES establishment of structural guidelines based on a type of productivity that contaminates graduate too. The text is had based on this hypothesis.

Antonio de Pádua Bosi, Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná, Marechal Cândido Rondom, Paraná,

É graduado em História pela Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (1993), mestre em História pela Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo (1997) e doutor em História pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (2002). Atualmente é professor Associado C da Universidade Estadual do Oeste do Paraná. Tem experiência na área de História e estuda os conflitos em torno da organização do trabalho e dos trabalhadores com ênfase para as experiências mais recentes de precarização das relações de trabalho e de formação da classe trabalhadora no Brasil.
