Abstract

The article aims to investigate the initial aspects of the Clarice Lispector’s reception in France, from documents available in electronic format. The method used was the compilation of scholarly articles, critical reviews and texts about Clarice Lispector published in France, that are accessible through the Google and Google Scholar search tools. The study focuses on the initial period of internationalization of the Brazilian writer’s work, covering the period from the 1950s to the 1980s. The objective is seeking to understand how begins the reception of Clarice Lispector, in this country specifically. The question that permeates all this work is what is the place of the Clarice Lispector in the translated literature in France?
