Abstract

This paper presents an analysis of the chronotope of virtual class of a Bachelor's Degree Letters-Portuguese-DE undergraduate course from a public federal university in southern Brazil. The research`s theoretical and methodological basis regards Bakhtin studies. We analyzed 12 statements in discussion forums, posted on the Virtual Teaching and Learning Environment (2007- 2011) and data generated from a questionnaire. The analysis showed that the presencial class is a background for the interactions which are materialized in the virtual class, focusing on the relationships of being together at distance
